In the dual training program, you will get to know the entire production process from the delivery of the raw material to the delivery of our grain-based products to the customer.
The training is very varied and practice-oriented. As part of a team of experienced colleagues, you will work in all departments from incoming goods inspection to laboratory, production, packaging/shipping and outgoing goods inspection. Each year of the apprenticeship has a different focus, with certain topics such as product and occupational safety and industrial hygiene taking center stage.
The main area of work in all three years of the apprenticeship is the production area. During your apprenticeship, you will also get to know departments outside of production, such as the logistics center, the metalworking shop and the electrical workshop. In order to start your training as a food technology specialist, you should have successfully completed a secondary school leaving certificate.
Your experienced colleagues will be on hand at all times to help you make an easy transition into the varied working environment. You will learn how to drive a forklift truck and take a forklift license test.
